Funding for DuPage
Ministries has been derived through personal,
corporate and church sponsorship. Looking to the
future, we seek out foundations that assist
non-profit groups with grants or other forms of
assistance.
If your company has a
program for charitable causes, we would welcome the
opportunity to discuss how we can benefit each other.
Likewise churches that have a mission outreach
program can be a valuable asset for this ministry.
DuPage Ministries does
not do active "phone soliciting" for fund
raising as many people might expect. The public is
often annoyed to find out these solicitors claim to
represent a police or fire department when they
really are not authorized to do. For personal
donations, we rely on a method that a chaplain from
another community recommended - serve God's people
and those who feel called by God to help, will
provide. To date we have followed this belief and are
amazed and appreciative of all that God has provided.
Incorporated as a
nonprofit organization by the State of Illinois and
recognized as a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization by
the Internal Revenue Service, all donations are
eligible for deductions per tax codes. Receipts will
be given for donations to verify deductions.
Since we do not have a
secure site for accepting donations by credit card,
it is necessary to use the old fashion method of
mailing a check through the postal system. Be sure to
